hen I had started working on my first portfolio website during the pandemic in 2020, there were a set of features that I always wanted to integrate. But a lot of reasons held back my vision: simplicity of the tech stack, the lack of skill and various time-constraints and obligations (college coursework to be precise)
P.S. I sincerely apologise for the cheesy intro line. I had just finished HIMYM and visioned that my portfolio website could act as my wingman!
But now, I'm very glad to share the fact that, the v2 of my portfolio has been online for the last few years and as of Dec 2025, I have been successful in implementing most of the envisioned features and they fulfill their exact purpose (some better than I ever thought of) of giving you a better insight into me as a professional.
But, among those rough ideas was one feature that I could never find time the opportunity to implement. A blogging section. Now I understand you must have a question. Why a blogging page, that too in 2026!?. Couldn't it just have become like a LinkedIn article thing? Well ..... You are not wrong. But, just hear me out.
Lets take LinkedIn for example. Platforms like LinkedIn were build with a specific purpose. As quoted by Wikipedia, LinkedIn is more about "professional networking and career development" and I feel your thoughts on various topics matter a little less on these social platforms, specially now that LinkedIn has also become a platform that is being plagued by one of the biggest issues of this decade, AI generated content. Keeping my LinkedIn articles and blogs separate will let me share my thoughts freely and let you, the readers, also know that this is pure, raw, unfiltered, cells of my grey matter.
I want my blog to be a direct thoughts-to-paragraphs conversion that I put out into the world and reach those who intend to read them rather than getting fake or forced reactions from someone who stumbled upon it due to some algorithm pushing it. Moreover, I want the article ideas to come naturally to me. If I commit to writing articles on a public platform like LinkedIn, it would become my social obligation to stick to that upload pattern and will give an impression of inconsistency, even though it was never my goal to begin with.
As the Blog Wall headline says, my blog will be me, raw, unfiltered, and full of grammatical errors (hopefully not). It will be never be some half baked thought that I process via some AI to add fluff, improve grammar, and tone to suit a platform. They will be an insight into my perspectives, my analogies, how and what I think, and why I think that. And I believe social media platforms have filled up with people whose metrics to the importance of what someone says relies mostly on how successful they are, rather than what they are actually trying to convey. As some non-AI entity (definitely not me) once said,

I will also be trying to set up a simple automated alert system (a kind-of "newsletter") that you can subscribe to in the near future, that emails you when a new blog has been posted.
